Once used extensively for travel and everyday life in the early 1700’s thru the early 1900’s, trunks and travel cases were mainly used when people traveled by ship or stage coach. People would pack all of their belongings in trunks to be stored during their travels.

In the United States, what ever form of travel that was used, individuals and families loaded trunks full of their possessions making trunks the most durable and practical form of storage for travel.
Today, these pieces of history can be transformed into a beautiful piece of furniture.
Whether you have a flat or domed top trunk, or one covered in metal, cloth, wood, or combinations of these materials, they are all unique and offer something different to give them character.
